Hidden Gem with low price!
I purchased this for my son to use for his daily homeschooling needs. This laptop was one of the best finds in a LONG time! It was practically like new for a very low price! It had no scratches or dents, everything that came with it including the charger works wonderfully and has since we purchased it several weeks ago. The ease of setup and use is perfect, the quality of the laptop is excellent, it runs fast, great graphics, my son can even play Roblox on it pretty well, it has some lagging but that is to be expected from a non-gaming computer. I hope the quality lasts a long time. Will update before the 12 month mark.

It’s awesome, not super fast or anything, though. After all, it’s a relatively cheap laptop.
I have been using this laptop for 2 days and it’s great. It’s pretty big, it has no scratches, and it’s completely new. I have signed in to HBO, Netflix, Tubi, Crunchyroll, and YouTube. All work well and are so smooth. Though, Roblox is quite laggy. So if you are looking for a laptop to game on, this isn’t the one. But the reason I bought it was for writing and watching movies and such. So for me, it’s a 5 out of 5.

Solid Chromebook with decent performance, not the greatest screen though…
Until this Chromebook, I used my iPhone and/or iPad for almost all of my computing needs. That has worked out well enough for me, but sometimes it’s just easier to use something with a proper keyboard. I stumbled across this refurbished Acer 315 going for $99, and figured that it was worth a shot. I came in perfect condition – looked brand new out of the box. Setup was easy, and chromeOS and a handful of Android apps are a decent – but occasional – alternative to the iOS ecosystem. My only complaint with this device is the screen – it’s big and clear enough, but the viewing angles leave much to be desired. If not viewed head on, the on screen images become quickly washed out or dark. To me that’s a small price to pay since this isn’t my workhorse, but there are undoubtedly Chromebooks out there with better screens.

Simple, fast, smooth and affordable!
I’ve been using my refurbished Chromebook (“excellent’) for about three weeks, and am so pleased with it. It is fast, intuitive, has a generous, bright display and operates so smoothly. This for a third of what I paid in 2017 for my Acer Aspire E15, which cannot run Windows 11 and in any case had become cumbersome and frustrating functionally. I am a basic user — e-mail, writing, light social media use — and this Chromebook suits me well. Syncing to Android phone even gives me access to text messages on my Chromebook, which may be overkill, but which is nonetheless nice for when I misplace my phone (which never happens, right?) I love that it starts without a hitch upon opening, and shuts down quickly; it all just feels so much faster, simpler and streamlined than the old Windows Acer, and according to research before buying, I’ll have support for this Chromebook for at least five years. Nice, too, to learn more about Google Drive and storing files and photos in the cloud (15GB free), rather than cluttering my own computer. Finally, as a matter of principle, it’s nice to have a refurbished product that is good as new without contributing to the production of new electronics. Speaking of which, Staples will recycle your old hardware at no cost; that’s where I took my old Acer laptop. Highly recommend this refurbished Chromebook in excellent condition!

Perfect deal
Very nice unit don’t care much for the mouse, but I hooked up an external and it works fantastic. Great value for the money.

Light, efficient, big 15.6″ screen. Good deal.
It’s a refurb, but it looked and acted brand new. Registration as a new device was easy using my Android phone. There was 43 GB of internal storage available, and a microSD card slot for more. I will be using it for traveling, checking email, web browsing, writing documents, so I can leave my heavy Windows laptop at home. I like the large 15.6″ screen. It is relatively light (2 ounces more than the stated 3.5 pounds) and power efficient. I won’t even take the charger, it charges just fine on my USB-C phone charger. It’s inexpensive enough that I decided not to buy the extended warranty.

Be careful!
I purchased the Chromebook Intel Celeron for my sister as a Christmas present. I was so releived to find it in excellent condition with no scratches or signs of wear and tear when I opened it. I was a little bothered that it wasn’t shipped in the original packaging, but told myself my sister wouldn’t mind so much because I was going to let her know that the laptop was refurbished. While setting up the Chromebook for my sister, I kept getting a message that I needed to hit Search, Plus and Space to continue with setup. After many hours trying to figure out where Search, Plus and Space could be found on the keyboard I referred to AI to get some assistance. It didn’t take long for me to discover that Search, Plus, Space referred to some type of virus. AI tried to assisit me with trying to bypass, but nothing worked. I decided to contact the seller at which time I was given a phone number to call for support. That was a total waste of time, because I got a recorded message stating no one was available and then I was hung up on. I was very hesitant tp by a pre-owned laptop, but the reviews I read weren’t bad at all. Goes to showto show, you can’t always beleive what you read! I’ll never make this mistake again!!
