Good entry level system if you are not looking to break the bank
Pretty cool for a cheap lil camera system the video looks retro the menu system is also old but will work via an app if you hook it up via ethernet. I opted not to do that.BUT was under the impression it had a 500gb hdd already but that is not the case, not sure if I can even find one that is compatible or if i can use an external via usb. Every 10 mins it will display a “no available storage” window. No matter how many times i close it, it keeps coming back and will sit there a few mins. [ EDIT ] UPDATEthe seller contacted with photo proof of the unit with a hardrive installed. I opened it up and checked, The power adapter that came with the dvr did not work, opened it up because I heard a rattle, the power adapter was broken, I had a charger that powered up the unit but only at 8v not 12v which my guess is needed to run the drive. I will probably hit a thrift store to see if i can find a charger that works. I got this unit in april and just got around to hooking it up, most likely would have returned it otherwise.Update, the Seller reached out to make things right. Which is why im changing my review score to 5 Stars. I recomend doing business with them. Thank you again. Also the system has held up pretty well and you cant really beat the price point

DO NOT BUY, there is no way this has 4 stars!
The cords don’t even match up to the unit. What little instruction there are, they may as well be in Chinese, they don’t make sense in English. “For more information, read the CD”????? How do you read a CD that doesn’t come in the box or even exist? “Scan the two-dimension code at first page”???? Not sure what that means, I assume a QR code? That doesn’t exist either.
